Energy efficiency, Sustainability and Innovation were the key themes of the ENEA Agora: a meeting between ENEA experts, companies and technicians in the construction sector, which took place on Friday 24 October at the Fiera del Levante in Bari, during the SAIE fair.

ENEA has proposed, with its laboratories in Brindisi and the territorial center of Bari, a point of reference for all stakeholders interested in deepening the themes of energy efficiency, applied to the Apulian reality, but not only.

The presentation of low environmental impact materials such as hemp, wool and the implementation of best practices in construction were the focal points around which numerous and wide-ranging debates developed. An opportunity for networking for all those involved, with the aim of supporting the consummate market logic with the development of innovative technologies to protect the environment.

On this occasion, the "INTERREG REEHUB - Regional Energy Efficiency HUB" project was presented, which will see its territorial location in the city of Brindisi with the Palazzo Guerrieri HUB. The Hub will be the regional reference on which to continue these networking activities and thematic insights on the topics of energy efficiency and sustainability, offering not only training and information moments, but also technological supports to support good practices for diagnostics and energy efficiency.

The event was attended by the mayor of Bari, Antonio De Caro, who greeted and expressed the interest of his administration in promoting sustainable construction.
